This site is dedicated to the 18′ Wellcraft Scarab Sprint boat that was manufactured in very limited quantities. Wellcraft no longer manufactures this boat.

Over the last few years, we have developed a fanpage on Facebook with other Scarab Sprint enthusiasts. It is the best place online to collaborate with other Scarab Sprint owners.

The most historical component of the Scarab Sprint is probably the fact that it was featured in a Stunt Show at Universal Studios Florida for approximately a decade. The ending of the stunt show actually featured an all black Scarab Sprint jumping off a ramp through an explosion. Here is a video clip from the Universal Studios stunt show that featured the Scarab Sprint. This stunt show ran for 10 years at the theme park.

In 2014, a post was made on Craigslist in the Sarasota Florida area. The items for sale were the old Wellcraft Scarab molds. This is a picture from that posting. Can you spot the mold for the Scarab Sprint? This picture is really gut wrenching for a fan like myself.
